Job Description
ALTERthought has a ground-floor opportunity for experienced recruiting professionals to join the firm as it expands its innovative brand in the Mid-Atlantic region. This position requires someone to bring resourcefulness, experience and a passion for recruiting consultants for ALTERthought’s consulting services and solutions The candidate will also be involved in the ongoing marketing of the firm via a variety of grass-roots activities. Along with recruiting, the candidate is expected to be an active part of the sales process in managing customer needs and identifying new leads.

Essential Functions
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts to identify and source qualified candidates
- Must be willing to maintain high level of warm calling, prospecting, and networking.
- Confer with management and sales team to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills
- Generate and follow up on leads
- Conduct phone interviews to determine skill set and availability of candidates
- Maintain a quality database of candidates
- Sell candidates on potential opportunities
- Create candidate pipelines utilizing various sourcing methods including internet sourcing, networking groups, and candidate cold calling
Knowledge Areas & Qualities
- Strong and dedicated commitment to client success
- 5 - 7 years of prior experience in IT consulting in a range of roles including recruiting, sales, business analysis, application development, process engineering
- Experience with both project staffing and IT staff augmentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enjoys working in a highly effective, fast-paced, team environment
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Proven track record of meeting aggressive quotas and deadlines
- Demonstrates creative problem solving skills, dedication to excellence and the entrepreneurial spirit
- Must be willing to work as necessary to close critical business opportunities; balanced with the opportunity for a flexible schedule
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Communications, Psychology, Mathematics, Economics, or an Engineering-related discipline
